This is Maki. I thought I should introduce some excellent restaurants in Gastown. Centre A will be serving gallons of tea at World Tea Party, and you might also want to go eat something in the area.
Nuba: Lebanese Cuisine

Comment: Interior is a very cozy environment. The space is warmly lit by candles at night.
Nuba is vegetarian friendly. Especially their crispy cauliflower is excellent. I would recommend your starter with hummus+pita bread, which comes with pickled red cabbage. They have a good selection of drinks as well. Servers are also kind and friendly.

Comment: Six Acres is another cozy place in Gastown. It is in one of Vancouver's oldest brick building. From February 8th - 28th, they will be serving Canada's all star beers! They have excellent macaroni and cheese, apple pie, and more. This is my favorite pub in Gastown at night. ...and I went there tonight! I ordered a dark beer from Quebec, and it was excellent! (sorry, I cannot remember the name of the beer.) We also ordered a six layer dip and chips. Chips were handmade, and they were fresh and crisp!

Comment: Oenoki-san told me that he is into poutine recently. Then I realized that I haven't eaten poutine for at least three years, so I had to go eat as soon as possible! Poutine is basically fries with gravy and cheese. According to Wikipedia, it was born in Quebec in the 1950s. If you have never tried it you must head there right now. It is "the real Canadian fast food experience" !! Belgian Fries is a little far away from Centre A but it would only take about 20minutes by skytrain and walking. There are many other places to get poutine but they were the most recommended one by my food-critic friends. They have many different kinds of poutine on the menu. My friend and I had the classic and veggie chili ones. We could not stop eating them, and they were great with cold beer!

コメント：レストランの中はとても落ち着いた雰囲気で、夜はたくさんのロウソクがついていて暖かいです。野菜料理が豊富でベジタリアンの方にも人気です。特にクリスピーカリフラワーは最高です。前菜はハマスと言うひよこ豆で出来たディップとピタがお勧めです(赤キャベツのピクルスが添えられて来ます。それがまた絶品です）。お酒の品数も充実しています。ウェイトレスの対応もとても親切で安心できました。

コメント：ここもとても心地の良い空間です。ここはバンクーバーで最も古いレンガの建物の一つです。２月８日から２８日まで特別にカナダの５つ星ビールをメニューに入れています。彼らのカナダ定番のマカロニチーズやアップルパイはお勧めです。ここは私の一番のお気に入りのパブです。 そして、今夜行って参りました！！ビール、おいしかったです！ビールの名前は珍しくて覚えていません、、すみません！！でもとにかく黒ビールでした。おつまみにディップとチップスを食べました。チップスも手作りで、香ばしかったです。

コメント：大榎さんは最近プティンにはまっていると教えてくれました。気づけば、ここ３年ほど食べていなかったので、急に食べたくなりました。プティンと言うのはフライドポテトにグレービーソースとチーズがかけられた物です。ウィキペディアによると、１９５０年代にケベックで生まれたそうです。もし、食べたことが無かったら今すぐ食べに行って下さい。これが本当のカナディアンファストフードです！ベルジャン フライズはセンターAからスカイトレインと徒歩を合わせて２０分ぐらいで行けます。他にもたくさんプティンのお店はありますが、食に詳しい友達に聞いたところ、ここが一番好評でした。たくさんの種類のプティンがあって、友達と私は、クラシックと野菜チリのを食べました。やめられな〜い、止まらない〜でした。冷たいビールとのコンビネーテョンは最高です！
